Honolulu opened Phase 2 of its Light Metro, expanding service to the Airport and Pearl Harbor
Los Angeles had two extensions: The K & C lines to LAX, and the A to Pomona North
Toronto openes Line 6 Finch West down Finch Avenue. The slow speed caused controversy.
